Mind the cop

For me, the most telling aspect of Northern Rail's "Meet Your Manager" event at Guiseley station this morning was the required presence of a police officer.

About Me

Barry White: Coleraine and Guiseley, United Kingdom; Born in Belfast in 1972, I'm now 52 years old and therefore getting on a bit. My wife Vanessa and I met whilst we were both working in London in 1997. Six years later we took the momentous decision to move North to Leeds where Vanessa grew up. And in 2005 we were married. Other than passing my driving test - which I've now failed three times - becoming a father was one of the few things I hadn't yet done (honestly) that I quite fancied a go at. This blog is aimed at keeping you informed about how I am doing. Oh, and I also bang on about some other stuff too. Quite a lot of other stuff. I try to make it funny because, if I don't, you won't come back. And there's nothing worse than talking to yourself.
