A special moment for everyone involved yesterday afternoon, when the cash raised as a happy consequence of last month's Oliver Turkington Memorial Dinner was handed over to good causes.
On the left, Paul McBride - CAI 1st XV skipper in Japan 25 years ago - presents a cheque for £6,923 to Mark McMahon of Cancer Research UK.
And on the right, CAI 1st XV Head Coach Richard Beggs - himself a player on the groundbreaking 1989 tour - dispenses an identical amount for rugby development at the school to Coleraine Inst Headmaster Dr David Carruthers.
A quick bit of mental arithmetic will tell you that a grand total of £13,846 was therefore the product of our collective endeavours, which isn't bad for a night's work.
And that, my friends, is closure.
